New rugs, particularly those that include wool fibres, are susceptible to shedding. With care & treatment, most rugs should stop shedding within 2-3 months.

Wool-viscose blend rugs combine durability and softness, making them ideal for medium-traffic rooms of the home.
Our premium long-fibre wool is naturally shed-resistant; some initial shedding may occur and can be remedied with regular vacuuming.
Vacuum with suction only; do not use bristles as they might pull the rug fibres.
Do not pull loose threads; if fibres become loose, clip them with scissors to the height of the rug pile.
Viscose rugs should be professionally cleaned; do not use household cleaners or water.
Water will discolour viscose, be sure to blot spills immediately with a clean dry cloth.
Professional cleaning is always recommended.
We recommend pairing with a rug pad to increase the lifespan of the rug, protect fibres against hard surfaces, and to provide additional comfort.
